A new generation of AI-powered talent matching.
Today, we're introducing Gilgamesh 2.3, the latest generation of Yadanoo's AI-powered matching technology.
Built on a large-scale, high-capacity AI model, it is designed to understand the relationship between people, skills, experience, and opportunities at a depth that goes far beyond traditional keyword matching.
Before evaluating candidates, it first understands the job.
The system reads the complete job description, identifies its requirements, and builds a structured representation of the role across its key dimensions. Only then does candidate analysis begin.
The result is a matching process that considers not only what is written, but what it means in the context of the role.
The technology was first built and developed in 2022 by the IQJ Scout team. It has since evolved into a significantly more advanced intelligence layer and has now been extended for Yadanoo.
Understanding the job before the candidate
Every matching process starts with the position itself.
The system analyzes the job description and identifies the dimensions that define the role, including:
Skills · Experience · Job function · Education · Seniority · Location · Languages
These dimensions form the foundation for candidate analysis.
Rather than comparing a profile against a collection of isolated keywords, it evaluates how a candidate's background relates to the structure and requirements of the position.
Beyond keyword matching
Professional experience is rarely expressed in exactly the same language as a job description.
The system can recognize relationships between different terms and descriptions that represent similar professional capabilities.
For example, experience in supplier negotiation can be understood in relation to requirements involving vendor management or contract negotiation, even when the wording is different.
It can also recognize equivalent professional terminology across languages, helping connect Arabic and English descriptions of the same role, skill, or function.
Understanding languages
Language requirements are now part of the matching process.
When a position requires specific languages or proficiency levels, those requirements are evaluated against the candidate's own language profile.
Spoken-language capability can therefore be considered alongside professional experience, technical skills, and other requirements.
A more relevant experience for candidates
Candidates can switch the Yadanoo homepage to Relevant to discover opportunities that better correspond to their professional background.
The system considers their profile, applications, saved jobs, and recent activity to surface opportunities with greater relevance.
Instead of simply showing what was posted most recently, it helps bring forward what may be most relevant to the individual.
A clearer view for employers
For employers, AI Match provides a structured view of how applicants relate to a position.
Each application can surface:
Match score · Matched skills · Missing skills · Years of experience · Spoken languages
The purpose is not to make the hiring decision.
It is to give recruiters more context, reduce the time spent sorting through applications, and help them focus their attention where it matters.
Every applicant remains visible, and every hiring decision remains with the employer.
The intelligence behind the match
The system combines structured information with advanced semantic understanding.
It considers the requirements of the role, the characteristics of the candidate, and the relationships between them.
That means a match is not determined solely by whether two profiles contain the same words.
It is based on a broader question: how closely does this person's professional background correspond to what this role requires?
Built with privacy in mind
Candidate and employer information is handled within Yadanoo's technology environment, with privacy and responsible data handling built into the system.
Responsible by design
AI can make mistakes.
Scores and rankings are therefore intended as guidance and additional context, not as automated hiring decisions.
Gender, age, marital status, religion, and nationality are not used as matching criteria.
The system does not automatically reject candidates or make hiring decisions.
It is not a chatbot.
It is an intelligence layer built to understand roles, identify relevance, and connect people with opportunities more effectively.
Available now
Gilgamesh 2.3 is now live on Yadanoo.
Employers can access AI Match from their job application pages.
Candidates can access Relevant from the Yadanoo homepage.
Why Gilgamesh?
The name comes from the Epic of Gilgamesh, one of the oldest surviving works of literature in human history.
Its origins lie in ancient Mesopotamia, the same region from which Yadanoo emerged.
We chose the name deliberately: a connection between one of humanity's oldest centers of knowledge and a new generation of technology.
First built by the IQJ Scout team. Extended for Yadanoo. Built for the future of work.
