Senior Sales Executive - Generator Set Exports | Al-Futtaim Automotive | FAMCO
Overview of the role
We are looking for a Senior Sales Executive to grow our generator set export business. You will develop customer opportunities, understand commercial requirements and manage the sales process from initial engagement through to successful closure.
Success in this role will require extensive generator set export sales experience, strong knowledge of the UAE market and a consistent record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. You will use your commercial judgement, customer relationship skills and market knowledge to deliver profitable sales and support the continued growth of the Power business.
What you will do
Develop export sales opportunities for generator sets by identifying customer requirements and progressing qualified leads.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication, customer meetings and field visits.
Achieve or exceed agreed monthly and annual sales targets while supporting profitable growth.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer, opportunity and sales records.
Prepare complete sales documentation and maintain accurate deal files in line with required processes.
Monitor competitor products and market activity, sharing relevant insights to support sales planning.
Manage customer expectations throughout the sales process and provide timely follow-up.
Attend product and sales training to maintain current technical and commercial knowledge.
Required Skills to be successful
A valid UAE driving licence.
At least seven years of generator set sales experience in the UAE.
Demonstrable generator set export sales experience.
A proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a current or recent role
What equips you for the role
Business or Engineering Degree
At least seven years of relevant sales experience in the UAE generator set industry.
Hands-on experience in generator set export sales.
Knowledge of business-to-business sales processes and commercial negotiations.
Ability to interpret customer requirements and present appropriate commercial solutions.
Experience maintaining accurate customer, opportunity and deal records.
Quantitative and analytical capability.
Effective negotiation, communication and influencing skills.
Customer-focused approach and the ability to build long-term business relationships.
Fluent written and spoken English.
