Perform interior and exterior painting of guest rooms, public areas, offices, and back-of-house facilities.
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling cracks, and applying primers.
Apply paints, varnishes, stains, and finishes using appropriate tools and techniques.
Touch up paintwork as needed to maintain a high standard of appearance.
Repair minor plaster, drywall, and surface defects before painting.
Follow preventive maintenance schedules and complete assigned work orders on time.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of painting materials and chemicals.
Comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
Coordinate with the Engineering team to minimize disruption to guests and hotel operations.
Report any maintenance issues beyond painting to the Engineering Supervisor.
Previous experience as a Painter, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
Knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and materials.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good attention to detail and time management skills.
Basic understanding of safety procedures and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Physically fit and able to work at heights when required.
