Senior Technical Planning & Records Officer - Qatar Executive

Description

About the role

To ensure fleet is maintained airworthy at all times through the effective management of work order packages for line, base and unscheduled maintenance. To maintain Qatar Executive and contracted Operators’ aircraft historical records and related aircraft maintenance documentation in accordance with Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA) and Operators’ national authority regulations and procedures.

Some of the tasks include:

  • Ensure full compliance with all QCAA and applicable other National aviation authorities regulations where relevant to aircraft technical records management, control, and accuracy , specifically as required by QCCA Part M sub part G current regulation and Qatar Executive Continuing Management exposition (CAME) and associated procedures (CPM).
  • Receive completed work packs from Part 145 contracted maintenance organizations, review for completeness, correctness and compliance, in order to have all required maintenance properly accomplished;
  • Track completed Aircraft Technical/Journey Log (received from Flight Crews or Part 145 Vendors), review for correctness and completeness, request corrections where applicable, in order to comply with established procedures and regulation;
  • Review Aircraft Technical/Journey Log or Cabin Log for deferred defects, enter data in maintenance tracking system and perform transaction following defect correction, to maintain accurate information;
  • Conduct corrections on maintenance documentation, contacting Part 145 maintenance organizations and track paperwork, in order to maintain records correctness;
  • Conduct correction on Aircraft Technical/Journey Log, contacting Flight Operations or Flight Crews, monitoring, in order to maintain records accurate.
  • Update aircraft maintenance tracking system with data received from Part 145 maintenance organization in order to maintain current airworthiness status of the aircraft;
  • Complete Aircraft, Engines and Modification/Repair Logbooks with maintenance data, following scheduled or unscheduled maintenance events, in order to maintain regulatory compliance and aircraft resale value.
  • Archive completed aircraft work orders, Aircraft Technical/Journey Logs and any other maintenance document, in accordance with established regulatory requirements and procedures to maintain historical records preserved and accurate.
  • Compile and review documentation for ARC (Airworthiness Review Certificate) in order to support extensions and renewals.
  • Prepare and review department periodic reports in accordance with defined procedures, and prepare regular aircraft status reports as required by regulations and contracting Operators.
  • Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

Qualification

Experience :

  • High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 5 years of job-related experience or
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience
  • Experience working with maintenance tracking software.
  • EASA Part 66 License or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Degree in Electronics, Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering.
  • Previous experience in business aircraft operation and/or maintenance.
  • Experience in Aircraft Maintenance in an EASA Part M or Part 145 organization, or equivalent or
  • Experience in Planning functions in an EASA Part M or Part 145 organization, or equivalent

Skills

  • Demonstrate competence of Computerized Aircraft Maintenance Planning software (CAMP)Demonstrate competence of Gulfstream Computerized Maintenance Planning software (CMP)Knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel).
  • Good knowledge of regulatory requirements relevant to aircraft continuing airworthiness. (Part M sub part G)
