Role: The land freight specialist is a mid-career role focusing on leading daily operations, supervising subordinates, assigning tasks, and working on achieving results such as Just In Time delivery.
Responsibility:
1. Lead daily operations, providing technical advisory, and problem solving on the spot.
2. Achieve just in time delivery results for shipments:
3. Cost avoidance: Ensuring that necessary costs are avoided by proactively planning operations.
4. Cost reduction: Focusing on continuously lowering operational costs.
5. Implementing management's direction and delegating tasks to subordinates.
6. Train, Coach, and supervise subordinates.
Requirements:
1. Minimum 3 years in similar role or 5 years in a general transportation role.
2. Full technical experience in international and domestic land freight operations.
3. Up to date knowledge of customs requirements in Iraq and KRI.
4. Fluent in English and Arabic.
5. Long term contracting availability 5 years minimum.
