Support to develop and administer plans and processes as part of the AFR product and capacity management strategy to support the commercial strategy in line with business; objectives, corporate guidelines and policies.

In this Air Freight SCM Specialist position
- Support the execution of plans and processes to implement the AFR product and capacity management strategy
- Provide allocation and reservations of freight on planned linehaul and flights required for hub and operations performance
- Assist in responding to product and capacity management enquiries in an efficient and competitive manner
- Execute tasks and activities while ensuring effective resource management and optimizing productivity for the day-to-day operations
- Develop and maintain databases with specific information to enable quick responses to specific network queries
- Build and secure business relationships with customers and airlines
- Prepare carrier performance reports and reviews
- Identify opportunities to enhance services and processes to secure cost-effective and competitive products and negotiate competitive rates with airline suppliers while meeting desired service specifications and transit time targets
- Understand recent developments of new solutions, services, lane and traffic development
- May provide functional guidance, advice or training to less experienced positions
- Identify and resolve recurring issues, and suggest modifications to AFR product and capacity management methods focusing on increasing effectiveness and efficiency
