Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the daily PDI schedule and assign vehicles to the relevant technicians.
- Follow up on the PDI process from vehicle arrival until completion.
- Ensure all required PDI inspections and checks are completed correctly and on time.
- Check and record PDI results, vehicle conditions, and any identified issues.
- Coordinate with PDI Technicians regarding repair, adjustment, or correction of identified issues.
- Follow up with the Workshop, Parts, Stockyard, and Sales teams when required to complete vehicle preparation.
- Ensure vehicles are properly prepared and ready for delivery within the required timeframe.
- Maintain accurate records of completed and pending PDI inspections.
- Monitor the status of vehicles and provide regular updates to the PDI / Stockyard Manager.
- Ensure PDI forms, checklists, and related documents are properly completed and filed in time as per OEM rules.
- Report any repeated technical or quality issues to the relevant supervisor.
- Assist in maintaining proper vehicle movement and organization within the PDI area.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve delays affecting vehicle delivery.
- Conduct any other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in automotive PDI,
workshop, vehicle preparation, or a similar position.Good knowledge of vehicle
inspection and basic automotive systems. Good understanding of PDI
procedures and vehicle delivery preparation.
