About the Job:
Supports the delivery of the Company Compliance Program in support of ADNOC Group Compliance Policy and associated framework; Supports the business in managing and mitigating the ethics and compliance risks including Anti-Bribery and Corruption, third party integrity, regulatory compliance, antitrust and competition and international trade controls and sanctions; supports implementing the policies and procedures approved by the CEO and the Board and delivering training/awareness programs.
Key Accountabilities:
- Provide day-to-day support for the implementation of Compliance Program.
- Deliver effective and up-to-date compliance awareness and training programs to include face-to-face and eLearning.
- Administer conflict of interests’ declarations, gifts & entertainment approvals, compliance training logs and similar.
- Contributing to delivery of individual projects falling within the Compliance Program such as the provision of e-learning, compliance platforms, annual declarations, third party risk reviews and similar.
- Manage the conflict of interests’ declarations, gifts & entertainment approvals, compliance training logs and similar.
- Administer the annual Compliance plan.
- Draft ethics and compliance processes, procedures and guidelines in support of the Ethics & Compliance policies.
- Ensure that compliance culture/objectives and awareness are built through awareness programs and training, as appropriate.
- Supports the Department’s regular reporting obligations as necessary.
- Support the business in undertaking regular risk-based assessment of the key compliance risks most likely to impact the Company.
- Undertake investigations allegations of non-compliant conduct as required.
- Assist Manager, Governance Ethics & Compliance in reviewing progress on program implementation
- Prepare and deliver compliance awareness campaigns.
- Conduct mock surveys, inspections and investigations periodically to assess staff readiness and identifies where corrective actions are needed as part of Compliance Program.
- Perform other related functions as may be directed by the Manager, Governance Ethics & Compliance from time to time.
- Endeavours to encourage behaviour that positively impacts the ADNOC Group in support of its compliance culture, while supporting the Group’s zero-tolerance stance on deliberate non-compliance
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, Governance, Compliance, Internal Audit, or a related discipline. A Master's degree is an advantage10-15 years of relevant professional experience in Corporate Compliance, Ethics & Compliance, Governance, Internal Audit, Risk Management, Legal & Regulatory Affairs
- At least 5 years in a supervisory or people management role.
- Strong knowledge of UAE laws and regulations, Corporate governance principles, Anti-bribery and anti-corruption requirements, Conflict of Interest management
- Compliance monitoring, reporting, and risk assessment frameworks. These areas are specifically referenced within ADNOC's Ethics & Compliance Framework
- Relevant professional certification
