PMC Supervisor (AA)

Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced PMC Supervisor (AA) for our ADNOC onshore project in Abu Dhabi within our Oil, Gas & New Energies business.

Due to the nature of the projects and client expectation, the position will be onshore site based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

The key objectives for this role are:

• Ensure safe execution of mechanical and multi-disciplinary works by managing and authorizing permits-to-work (PTW) as the designated Area Authority.
• Drive a strong safety culture onsite, enforce HSE compliance, and achieve zero incidents through proactive risk management and intervention.
• Act as the Area Authority for issuing, reviewing, and controlling permits-to-work (PTW) for mechanical and related activities. Ensure all permits are properly authorized, risk-assessed, and aligned with HSE standards.
• Monitor and guide contractors/subcontractors in executing mechanical works safely and in compliance with project specifications. Ensure adherence to schedules and quality standards.
• Enforce strict compliance with HSE policies, conduct toolbox talks, and intervene in unsafe practices. Ensure all work activities are risk-assessed and mitigated.
• Serve as the interface between PMC management, EPC contractors, and site teams. Resolve conflicts, clarify scope, and ensure smooth execution of mechanical and multi-disciplinary works.
• Verify mechanical installations, piping works, and equipment erection against IFC drawings and standards. Ensure QA/QC compliance and closure of non-conformities.
