AT Group is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and organized Junior Accountant to join our team in Erbil. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to develop their accounting skills and gain practical experience in a professional working environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with daily accounting operations, including recording financial transactions and maintaining accurate accounting records.
Prepare and organize invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and other financial documents.
Assist in recording accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
Support the preparation of financial reports and periodic accounting statements.
Reconcile financial records and help identify and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain and update accounting files, spreadsheets, and financial databases.
Assist with bank reconciliations and cash monitoring.
Ensure financial documents are properly organized and readily available for review.
Support senior accountants with month-end closing activities and other accounting tasks as required.
Follow company accounting procedures and maintain the confidentiality of financial information.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Good command of English and either Kurdish or Arabic.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial documentation.
Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Six months to one year of relevant accounting experience is preferred.
