About the Role

To operate Ground Support Equipment & Aircraft Appearance equipment ,as directed to safely service aircraft according to company Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and Airport Authority Standards and Regulatory requirements. Achieve on time performance.

Operational

• Providing and operating different types of Ground Support Equipment & Aircraft Appearance equipment to Operating Airlines.
• Strict compliance with all relevant company Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and Airport Authority Standards and Regulatory requirements.
• Ensuring timely completion of assigned duties and report any deviations to policies and procedures or work performance challenges (to include delay of an aircraft’s scheduled departure) to the Loading Team Leader/Supervisor and EO Operations Team Leader.
• Safety awareness related to aircraft GSE operations, loading and the hazards related to the same, take responsibility for individual safety and security issues and perform directed health and safety activities and checks.
• Inspecting all assigned Equipment to ensure serviceability, fuel levels, FOD and cleaning of equipment. Team leader/supervisor must be informed of any issues, incidents, discrepancies to avoid incidents, or disruption/delay in the provision of service.
• Multitasking and undertaking any additional activities such as positioning of chocks, cones, marshalling, and manual handling.
• FOD Checks and monitoring and operating all equipment for which qualified and licensed.
• Doing required equipment Movement between Airside, Engineering Workshop, GSE Wash Bay, GSE Fueling Station, and QR Hangar washing facility .
• Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

About you

• High School Qualification with minimum 1 year of job-related experience
• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with No prior job-related experience
• Basic Knowledge of Ramp Handling Workflow.
• Should be able to obtain a valid AVOP.
• Holding a valid home country or Qatar Driving License.
• Holding GSE Operating Permit not limited to but includes Lower Deck Loader, Passenger Steps, Baggage, and Conveyor Belt
• Holding or Should be able to Obtain Qatari Heavy License for QR – Technical cleaning operations (Carpet Shampoo trucks, Aircraft Wash Bowser, Aircraft Maintenance Platform for QR Technical Cleaning Operations.)
• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Basic communication and professional etiquettes.
• Understand the requirement of working in a Team and Handling a situation with regards to Operations.

Preferred

• Holding Aircraft Pushback and Towing Certificate.

• Basic level of MS office applications and well versed with Computer.

• Proficient in Correspondence with basic arithmetic skills
