Overview Of The Role:

The Sales Assistant is responsible for generating sales and delivering a positive customer experience. This involves engaging with customers, providing information on products, and ensuring the store is tidy and visually appealing. The role requires executing various operational duties assigned by the store management team, including housekeeping and maintaining visual presentation standards.

What You Will Do:

Customer Experience

Create a positive first impression for the customer through an energetic attitude and adhering to dress code.
Greet customers immediately upon entering the store with a smile and sincere non-business like greeting.
Sincerely thank all customers for shopping as they exit the store, and invite them back.

Sales and Service

Provide customers with current relevant information about the product.
Provide quality service in the fitting rooms, follow up with customers in a timely manner, and attempt to add on to the sale.
Provide efficient service at the cash wrap, offer gift cards, and maintain cash wrap cleanliness while capturing customer information in the database.

Store Operations

Create a sparkling clean and organized environment by maintaining store standards and cleanliness.
Maintain cleanliness of cash wrap and store areas as assigned by the store management team.

Required Skills To Be Successful:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Customer service oriented with enthusiasm and energy.
Ability to maintain store standards and cleanliness.
Basic proficiency in visual merchandising and use of CAD software.

What Qualifies You For The Role:

High School Degree.
1-2 years of retail sales experience.
Ability to use computer-aided design (CAD) packages, such as AutoCAD, Sketchup, Illustrator or Photoshop to create visuals and plans.
Good verbal communication skills, some heavy lifting, Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours.
