Job Description
Ride Technician
This position is responsible for the maintenance and repair of rides, attractions, and all related equipment in the waterpark.
- Able to maintain and repair all attractions and rides following the highest standards of safety
- Able to identify maintenance risks on equipment
- Able to diagnose any faults for all attractions and rides in the waterpark
- Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on rides and equipment, ensuring complete compliance with the manufacturer’s specifications and waterpark standards
- Able to perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
- Able to provide technical direction and on-the-job training
- Maintain daily logs and records of all maintenance work performed while on duty, paper and electronic
- Keep a correct inventory and write purchase order requests for items needed
- Participate in the on-call program and respond both by phone and in person as appropriate
- Report all potential hazards, safety concerns, and accidents immediately
- Ensure effective communication and good relations between the engineering department and other departments in the waterpark
- Comply with Health and Safety Regulations
Qualifications
- Secondary / High school education
- Qualification in Trades Technician level, variety of engineering/maintenance
- Basic computer skills in MS Office and ability to use BMS
- Good proficiency in the English language
