AT Group is seeking a skilled HSE Trainer on behalf of an oil and gas company in Kirkuk, to build a strong safety culture by delivering high-quality health, safety and environment training to our workforce and contractors.

What you'll do

• Deliver HSE inductions and core courses: permit to work, H2S awareness, working at height, confined space entry, fire safety, first aid, lifting operations and defensive driving.

• Run training on hazard identification, risk assessment, incident reporting and environmental protection.

• Assess trainee competence and issue certificates.

• Keep the HSE training matrix and records up to date.

• Update course content after incidents, audits and regulatory changes.

• Support HSE campaigns, toolbox talks and safety stand-downs.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or a related field.

• NEBOSH IGC (minimum); NEBOSH Oil & Gas or IOSH certificates preferred.

• Recognised trainer or instructor certification (e.g. OPITO, Train-the-Trainer).

• Proven experience in HSE, with 3+ years delivering training in oil and gas.

• Strong knowledge of oil and gas hazards and controls.

• Fluent Kurdish or Arabic and English.
