JOB PURPOSE:
The Senior Specialist, Warehouse Performance is responsible for optimizing warehouse operations to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with safety standards. This role involves analyzing performance metrics, implementing best practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping processes. The Senior Specialist will also lead initiatives to integrate new technologies and improve warehouse processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying areas for improvement and developing actionable strategies to address them. The role is critical in driving operational excellence and maintaining high standards of warehouse performance.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:Job Specific:
- Prepare and implement warehouse operations strategies and procedures that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Develop and produce training programs for warehouse supervisors and staff to ensure adherence to safety and operating procedures.
- Examine and analyze warehouse performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address issues.
- Lead the execution of best practices in inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping and receiving processes.
- Advise cross-functional teams, including transportation and logistics, to ensure seamless integration between warehouse operations and other business functions.
- Review compliance with regulatory and safety requirements and execute corrective actions as needed.
- Develop and manage the warehouse operations budget, ensuring cost reduction wherever possible.
- Examine warehouse facilities and equipment to ensure they are well-maintained and in compliance with safety regulations.
- Advise on relationships with key vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts as needed.
- Analyse industry trends and developments to implement new technologies and processes as appropriate.

• Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with best industry standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.

• Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures, controls, applicable legislation, and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices.
Reports
• Provide inputs to prepare MIS and progress reports for Company Management.
COMMUNICATION & WORKING RELATIONSHIP:Internal:
Coordinate with the SVP Group Commercial Operations & Execution and other Division heads within the function to ensure alignment of warehouse performance strategies with organizational goals. Regularly communicate with staff within the Executive Function, Directorate, and other Directorates on divisional matters.
External:
Manage relationships with suppliers, vendor organizations, and government officials to ensure compliance with regulations affecting warehouse operations and to discuss matters of mutual interest. Collaborate with ADNOC affiliated companies to pool information and explore areas of cooperation for inter-company transfer of materials.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:Minimum Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
10 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 8 years in a leadership role.
Professional Certifications
Relevant certifications in warehouse management, supply chain management, or logistics are preferred.
