We are seeking a highly skilled Inspector - Coating with strong technical expertise in lifting operations, industrial inspection, and compliance with international standards. The successful candidate will deliver professional training programs, supervise trainees, support inspection activities, and contribute to business development initiatives.
Job Title: Inspector – Coating
Job Purpose:
To carry out inspection and testing of coating and painting activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform inspection of surface preparation, painting, and coating activities.
- Verify environmental conditions before and during coating application.
- Conduct coating inspection tests, including:
- Dry Film Thickness (DFT)
- Wet Film Thickness (WFT)
- Surface profile measurement
- Adhesion testing
- Holiday/pinhole detection
- Dew point and humidity checks
Qualifications:
- Senior inspector with 10–15-year experience in Oil & Gas sector.
- NACE Gr 2 or equivalent certified (mandatory)
- Familiar with QatarEnergy specification is preferable
- Offshore experience and Qatar energy experience is preferable.
- Previous experience with any of oil & gas companies in Qatar
- Available in Qatar is preferable
