Position Summary
The Outside Senior Sales Engineer - Flow Control Valves is focused on leading the development and execution of strategies resulting in profitable growth through increased penetration at ADNOC Upstream and ADNOC Gas. The Outside Senior Sales Engineer is the guardian of customer relationships, orchestrating the development of corporate-wide resources to provide comprehensive products, services, and solutions to the customer base while leading the B2B alignment of the Customer Management Team and the Flow Control Valves Team and positioning Emerson Flow Controls as a trusted advisor.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Meet or exceed annual business goals and targets for allocated ADNOC sites.
- Develop and execute Emerson Flow Controls business strategies within assigned ADNOC sites.
- Develop, update, and manage the execution of comprehensive account and site plans covering all Flow Controls business activities.
- Conduct weekly site visits and implement dedicated site walkdown programs for allocated ADNOC facilities.
- Prepare and present growth plans, forecasts, pricing surveys, and competitor intelligence.
- Ensure Business Unit plans and strategic initiatives are aligned with account and site plans and executed in a timely manner.
- Establish and strengthen relationships with stakeholders across all levels within assigned sites.
- Leverage existing relationships and develop new connections with key decision-makers to position Emerson Flow Controls as the preferred supplier of technology, products, services, and solutions.
- Drive MRO and Lifecycle Services opportunities by acting as a trusted advisor and providing solutions to customer challenges.
- Establish and maintain long-term service and spare parts agreements with allocated ADNOC sites.
- Drive Inter-Business Unit product growth across assigned customer accounts.
- Lead growth initiatives including competitive displacement programs, technology upgrades, shutdown and turnaround opportunities, and new solution adoption.
- Stay informed about developments in products, industries, and market trends.
- Develop and execute plans to grow KOB3 business from the existing installed base.
- Develop and manage KPIs related to strategic initiatives to improve business performance and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with Local Business Partners to expand business opportunities within allocated ADNOC sites.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Experience developing business plans to grow MRO and Lifecycle Services business within assigned customer sites.
- Ability to maintain strong engagement with site stakeholders and understand their KPIs and business objectives.
- Proven ability to establish credibility as a trusted advisor.
- Experience planning and delivering technical seminars, workshops, and customer engagement programs.
- Practical knowledge of control valves and process applications relevant to assigned customer sites.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in a professional and multicultural environment.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of industry experience, including Oil & Gas and Petrochemical sectors in the UAE.
- Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.
- Ability to communicate and deliver value-based business solutions to customers.
- Experience managing strategic customer accounts within ADNOC or similar organizations
