Working Hours: 6 days per week, 8 hours per day
AT Group is seeking a skilled and dependable Generator Mechanic to join our team in Baghdad. The successful candidate will inspect, maintain, and repair generators and related mechanical systems to keep power supply running safely and reliably across our sites.
Key Responsibilities
• Inspect, maintain, and repair generators and related mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot and fix engine, fuel, cooling, and electrical faults.
• Carry out planned preventive maintenance, including oil, filter, and belt changes.
• Replace worn or damaged parts and components.
• Test generators regularly to make sure they are ready for use.
• Complete work orders and keep maintenance records up to date.
• Follow all health, safety, and site rules at all times.
Requirements
• Able to speak English at an intermediate to upper-intermediate level.
• Good technical knowledge of diesel generators and engines.
• Able to use diagnostic and mechanical tools safely.
• A technical diploma and previous experience as a Generator Mechanic are preferred.
• Able to work well in a team and follow instructions.
