Job Overview:
A well-known nursery in Erbil is hiring a teacher. You’ll care for and teach young children in a safe, caring environment, support their early learning and development, and work with parents and colleagues. This is a full-time role, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Saturday to Thursday. Candidates with 2 years of experience are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver age-appropriate daily activities that support children’s learning, language, and social development
Create a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment
Observe each child’s progress and behavior, and keep accurate records
Guide children’s behavior with patience and positive methods
Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress and daily routine
Follow the nursery’s health, safety, and hygiene procedures
Work with colleagues and management on events, activities, and curriculum planning

Required Qualifications:

Degree in Psychology
2 years of experience, preferably working with young children
Fluent in Arabic, Kurdish, and English
Strong communication skills and a patient, caring approach with children

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a nursery, kindergarten, or early childhood setting
Knowledge of early childhood development and modern teaching methods
Creativity in preparing classroom activities
