Overview Of The Role:

The Sales Assistant is responsible for generating sales and ensuring a positive customer experience by maintaining store standards, assisting customers with relevant product information, and executing operational duties as assigned by the store management team. The role plays a critical part in enhancing the company's reputation and driving repeat business.

What You Will Do:

Store Environment

Creates a sparkling clean and organized environment by maintaining store standards and cleanliness.
Creates a positive first impression for the customer through an energetic attitude and adhering to dress code.

Customer Interaction

Greets customers immediately upon entering the store with a smile and sincere non-business-like greeting.
Provides customers with current relevant information about the product.
Sincerely thanks all customers for shopping as they exit the store and invites them back.

Sales and Service

Provides quality service in the fitting rooms, follows up with customers in a timely manner, maintains cash wrap cleanliness and attempts to add on to the sale.
Provides efficient service at the cash wrap, offers gift cards, maintains cash wrap cleanliness, and captures customer information in the database.

Required Skills To Be Successful:

Strong customer service skills.
Proficient in using CAD tools for visual and plan designs.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.

What Qualifies You For The Role:

High School Degree.
1-2 years of retail sales experience.
Ability to use computer-aided design (CAD) packages, such as AutoCAD, Sketchup, Illustrator or Photoshop to create visuals and plans.
Good verbal communication skills, some heavy lifting, and the ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours.
