A leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company, based in Baghdad, is seeking to appoint an Authorized Manager with the experience and competence required to oversee the company’s general management, represent it administratively and legally, and contribute to its growth and business sustainability.
Qualifications & Requirements
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields: Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, or an equivalent discipline. Higher degrees are considered an additional advantage.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical manufacturing or healthcare sector, preferably including administrative or leadership responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to corporate operations, particularly the instructions and regulations issued by the Ministry of Health and relevant regulatory authorities.
- Good understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and its regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong leadership and negotiation skills, with the ability to make decisions and manage teams effectively.
High standards of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the general management of the company, supervise its operations, and ensure the implementation of its strategic plans.
- Represent the company administratively and legally before government, judicial, and regulatory authorities, particularly the Ministry of Health.
- Sign contracts, agreements, and official correspondence within the scope of delegated authority.
- Oversee the company’s compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and instructions, and follow up on its licenses, permits, and regulatory approvals.
- Develop growth and expansion strategies and contribute to strengthening the company’s market share.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, suppliers, customers, and relevant stakeholders.
