Instructor – Training Center / Electrical

Provide relevant training courses and sessions to all nominated candidates. Have the overall responsibility of designing, producing, and presenting technical courses for employees of all levels at the job site in relation to Electrical Engineering. Administer procedures based on the training program and conduct training courses and assessments for both general courses and courses tailored to specific needs on a continuous basis. Create and teach lessons that are challenging, encouraging, and aligned with the company's standards of professional excellence.

• Comply with relevant technical policies, procedures and controls, applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practice on his/her area of assignment.
• Design, plan and provide courses and material that focus on quality, sustain a consistently high standard of education within the Company and ensure the value of the trainee’s experience. Evaluates 3rd party training providers‟ training material and delivery’’.
• General courses and courses for specific needs are conducted on continuous basis. Create and teach challenging and encouraging lessons linked to company’s standard and professional excellence. Evaluate trainees’ required knowledge by testing, and to fill in gaps in that knowledge.
• Develop Training Plan based on the needs of the assets/functions. Deliver basic safety, and safety related training courses for ADNOC Onshore personnel and contractors on an on-demand basis (H2S/BA /WMS, etc).
• Review all training records such as (Training attendance sheet, evaluation & assessment reports exam sheets, etc.) to develop statistical records. Design training packages for the area of his/her assignment in the required format (i.e. power point format, storyboard of eLearning courses).
• Perform training gap analysis in the area of his/her assignment to determine the appropriate action plan to achieve training goals. Evaluate training requirement based on accident investigation findings and post-course evaluation forms.
• Prepare training course for his/her technical assigned area by receiving and compiling training requests such as ASK HC, emails and phone calls from all internal and external employees. Organize and maintain a filing system for all training records (attendance sheets, exams etc.). Produce training expenditure sheet regularly to monitor the budget (equipment, books if it’s external from international organization, etc).
• Develop innovative approaches to the learning and teaching experience. Continually improve teaching skills by seeking out constructive feedback and professional development opportunities. Hold strong determination to ensure program success; and the ability to provide and receive feedback.
• Encourage trainees to develop a positive attitude towards training, share their views, experiences and learning expectations and aspirations. Dedicated in efforts to teach and support trainees’ learning and achievement.
• Regularly report on all aspects of the assigned technical discipline’s Training Programs to Team Leader, Training Center. Establish and maintain strong communication lines with all concerned (Line Managers, Advisors, Supervisors, Coordinators etc) regarding nomination, selection of trainees, testing, exam results, progress reports, feedback, follow up, monitoring, supervising, advising, etc.
• Through relevant networks, assess industrial techniques and practices, introducing new effective approaches and techniques in training to the benefit of the Company.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.

• 7 years of experience, including at least working in Oil and gas / Petro chemical/Chemical Process.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in training and ability to prepare training materials.
• Possess problem solving techniques and capabilities in understanding complicated and difficult situations and tackle them.

• Train the trainer certification.
• Handling Training portfolio.
