Position Summary
The Marketing Department Manager is responsible for managing marketing activities within the scope of the role, supporting the department’s objectives of strengthening the brand and executing effective communication, campaigns, content, and marketing channels to support business growth and enhance customer experience.
The role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of marketing outputs, compliance with internal authorities and policies, and adherence to relevant regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Department Planning & Performance
- Develop the department’s annual work plan, aligning it with the bank’s objectives.
- Define priorities, resources, KPIs, and follow up on implementation.
- Ensure achievement of departmental plans and objectives.
- Allocate responsibilities and monitor team performance, productivity, and quality.
- Develop employees’ capabilities and address performance gaps.
Governance, Controls & Compliance
- Review and approve work within the delegated authority.
- Ensure appropriate controls and segregation of duties are applied.
- Address exceptions and ensure proper follow-up.
- Develop and review marketing policies, procedures, and work instructions.
- Ensure policies and procedures remain up to date and aligned with applicable requirements.
- Identify operational and control risks and follow up on mitigation plans, audit findings, and regulatory observations.
- Maintain confidentiality of bank, customer, and employee information.
- Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.
Marketing Campaigns & Brand Management
- Execute marketing activities and campaigns in line with approved marketing plans, objectives, budgets, and approvals.
- Prepare or review marketing content and messaging in accordance with the bank’s brand identity, communication tone, and approved information.
- Ensure consistency of the visual identity and proper use of the brand across all marketing materials and outputs.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to obtain the necessary approvals before publishing content or launching campaigns.
Digital Marketing & Analytics
- Manage or support digital channels and paid marketing campaigns.
- Monitor and measure reach, engagement, and conversion.
- Analyze campaign results, audience behavior, and marketing performance indicators.
- Provide recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness and marketing performance.
Reporting & Internal Coordination
- Prepare regular and objective reports covering performance, risks, issues, requirements, and decisions needed.
- Coordinate with relevant departments and business units to provide required information and ensure smooth execution of activities.
- Manage internal dependencies and ensure effective collaboration across departments.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Media, Communications, Business Administration, Design, or another relevant field.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Banking sector experience is preferred.
