Required Education
& Work Experience:
·
Bachelor's degree in architecture.
·
A portfolio of completed designs.
- Excellent technical skills, particularly with CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, 3D Max, …).
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft office (Excel, Projects, …)
- Strong creative design and time management skills.
- Ability to: problem solving and use of math and analytical skills
- Ability to interpret drawings and project schedules.
- Proficiency in English, and Arabic verbal and writing communication.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
· Gathering the
necessary measurements, dimensions, and other routine calculations for design
layouts.
· Using CAD software and
manual drawing techniques to produce architectural plans for management and
client approval.
· Reworking and
modifying designs based on comments and reviews from management and clients.
· Ensuring all vital
information and documentation is recorded and maintained.
· Ensuring that all
layouts and blueprints are compliant with industry codes and legal standards.
· Preparing drawings,
blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
· Visiting building
worksites to ensure work is being done according to architectural plans
· Preparing detailed
shop drawings showing the required details needed for construction and client
requests.
· Ability to read
project schedule, coordinating with Construction manager regarding required
details and project needs.
